Theatre District, Milton Keynes
The Theatre District is a 6 storey apartment block comprising 50 serviced apartments with basement car parking and 3 restaurant units. This project presented a number of technical challenges regarding compliance with Fire Safety Regulations and performance issues associated with heating systems which became evident post occupation. Although not involved in the initial design and construction, MSL were engaged by the main contractor to provide expert technical advice in relation to these matters and to propose and manage the implementation of appropriate solutions.
